Uncoached / unled groups taking place on same trip as coached or led groups Uncoached/Unled group

There must be a minimum of: 3 x SK award/SK coastal award/SK Advanced award level paddlers. The group must include 1 x Co-ordinator. One member of the group should hold CNTP certificate. The Group must have method/means of communication. Recommended max group size: 10 paddlers

The trip undertaken must within the remit of the awards held by the group, as specified by the BC. If the group consists of paddlers with a mixture of awards - the trip must be within the remit of the least qualified paddler. A suitable trip should be found for the whole group based on experience and ability. If numbers allow, it is acceptable to divide a larger un-coached/led group into smaller groups of paddlers wishing to paddle different sections/areas. All smaller groups must carry means of communication. All club SK un-coached/unled group club trips are arranged on the forum and groups are based on the club members who attend that particular trip, and the factors listed above. Any unofficial groups (WhatsApp or otherwise) are used only for private trips.
