Communications Officer:
- The Communications Officer plays a key role in managing the public and internal communications for the club. Their responsibilities include the following:
- Producing and managing the club newsletter and any other publications (e.g. yearbook)
- Establishing and maintaining the club’s social media presence to engage current members, attract new ones, and enhance the club's visibility in the local community.
- Managing the design, production and distribution of club merchandise.
- Developing effective communication channels with club members to complement the existing Forum, enhancing transparency and ensuring that members are well-informed about club matters.
- Collaborating with other committee members, particularly the Webmaster, to ensure a cohesive digital presence that accurately represents the club online
- Providing support during club events and activities to ensure proper media coverage and promotion.
- Regularly updating the club on the effectiveness of communication strategies and proposing new methods or technologies that could improve communication.
- Coordinating with the Social Secretary to promote social events to maximise attendance and participation through effective advertising and communications.
