Sorry for the long delay.
The weekend that look viable are 13/14 Sept and 27/28 Sept.
As quite few of you are on the Isle of wight on the 13th I'd suggest the 27 or 28 Sept.
This will be the same trip that Tony, Sean and I made but going anticlockwise on the ebb instead of clockwise on the flood.
We'd launch from Barton Pt at HW Sheerness and paddle across to the anti-submarine boom, west along to Southend pier and back to Barton's Pt (Sheerness); lunch probably somewhere on Southend beach. Paddling time somewhere between 5:45 and 4:30 depending on conditions (of people as well as environment).

We'd need to pick up boats at 9am.
